This includes the case of Justice Shekhar Yadav from the Allahabad High Court.
A notice for Justice Yadav’s removal is pending with the Chairman, who has received a motion with 55 signatures from Rajya Sabha members requesting his removal.
Supreme Court's Involvement : The SC has summoned Justice Yadav regarding his alleged communally charged remarks.
In January, the SC requested a report from the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court on this issue.
Constitutional Process : The Rajya Sabha Chairman emphasized that the jurisdiction for such a matter lies solely with him and, if necessary, with Parliament and the President, under Article 124(4) of the Constitution.
