PM Modi said Operation Sindoor is still ongoing and warned that India will not tolerate nuclear blackmail or terrorism from Pakistan.
India has established a “new normal” by responding firmly to terror attacks, as seen in the 2016 surgical strikes and 2019 Balakot air strikes.
He clarified that the current pause in hostilities is temporary and future actions depend on Pakistan’s behaviour; talks will only cover terrorism and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
Modi rejected the idea of normal relations with Pakistan, stating: “Talks and terror, trade and terror, water and blood — cannot go together.”
He highlighted Pakistani Army involvement in terrorist funerals as proof of state-sponsored terrorism, vowing no distinction between terrorists and their backers.
Terror camps in Bahawalpur and Muridke were called “universities of terrorism,” linked to global attacks like 9/11 and the London bombings.
The brutal Pahalgam attack, where victims were targeted by religion, united the country and led to the elimination of over 100 terrorists.
Modi praised the armed forces for quick, decisive strikes and ongoing vigilance, and highlighted India’s readiness with indigenous weaponry.
He said Pakistan requested a ceasefire after suffering damage and promised to act against terror.
