The sea phase of Exercise Konkan, a joint naval exercise between the Indian Navy and the U.K.'s Royal Navy, has concluded.
The main objective of the exercise was to enhance cooperation, interoperability, and operational readiness between the two navies.
It included complex naval training such as air warfare, anti-submarine operations, and underway replenishment.
This year's Konkan exercise marked a historic milestone with the participation of Carrier Strike Groups, including India's aircraft carrier INS Vikrant and the UK's HMS Prince of Wales.
This exercise demonstrates the commitment of both countries to peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
