He described Semiconductors as the "digital diamonds" of the 21st century and a major economic driving force.
The Prime Minister clarified that the government is planning the next phase of the India Semiconductor Mission and is committed to faster approvals for semiconductor manufacturing.
The government uses the national single window system to simplify approvals.
In 2025 alone, the government approved 10 semiconductor projects with a combined investment of $18 billion.
The government aims to realize the vision: "Designed in India, made in India, and trusted by the world."
