• Sidon or Saida is the third-largest city in Lebanon. 

• It is located in the South Governorate, of which it is the capital, on the Mediterranean coast

• South Lebanon's Ain al-Helweh Palestinian refugee camp witnessed three days of fighting.

• The fighting occurred between members of Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas's Fatah movement and Islamist militants in the camp.
