CBSE launched a parenting calendar to strengthen parent-child-school partnerships, following the National Education Policy, 2020.
The calendar is based on a survey of 13,000 parents from various states in India.
69.6% of respondents were mothers, 28.2% fathers, and 2.1% guardians.
Parents feel confident in managing children's education and behavior but seek structured guidance from schools.
19.7% of parents face parenting challenges; 43.5% understand the impact of their parenting choices; 36.8% want to learn more.

Time management and study habits (11.8%)
54.4% of parents feel confident managing behavioral issues; 40.1% face occasional struggles; 5.5% need more support.
53.5% feel assured about academics; 40.9% face occasional difficulties; 5.6% require additional help.
