Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) and Indian Coast Guard seized over 300 kg of drugs in a joint operation.
Pakistani smugglers dumped the drugs into the Arabian Sea while fleeing across the international maritime boundary.
The seized drugs, likely methamphetamine, are worth around ₹1,800 crore.
The drugs were sent from Pakistan’s Pasni port and were meant to reach Tamil Nadu via a mid-sea transfer.
The operation was conducted near the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) off the Jakhau coast in Gujarat’s Kutch district.
The seized contraband has been handed over to the ATS for further investigation.
