India has decided to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan immediately.
The decision follows a terror attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 people.
India says Pakistan must stop supporting cross-border terrorism for the treaty to resume.
The Attari Integrated Check Post will be closed immediately.
Pakistani nationals with valid visas must return by May 1 through the Attari route.
Pakistanis will no longer be allowed to travel to India under the SAARC Visa Exemption Scheme (SVES).
All previously issued SVES visas to Pakistani nationals are now cancelled.
Any Pakistani in India under SVES must leave within 48 hours.
Defence advisers in the Pakistani High Commission are declared persona non grata and must leave in a week.
India will also withdraw its own defence advisers and 5 support staff from the High Commission in Islamabad.
The number of staff in both Indian and Pakistani missions will be reduced from 55 to 30 by May 1.
An all-party meeting is scheduled, and outreach to political leaders has begun.
The government has ordered high alert across all security forces.
India promises to bring the attackers and their sponsors to justice, like it did with the extradition of Tahawwur Rana.
