India is sending multi-party delegations to several international capitals to brief them about Operation Sindoor.
Over the next two weeks, the delegations will explain that cross-border terrorism from Pakistan remains a major issue for India.
India aims to present its doctrine of zero tolerance for terrorism.
Veteran diplomat Syed Akbaruddin highlighted that while many countries have shifted focus away from terrorism, it remains a serious concern for India.
Akbaruddin will visit Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia, and South Africa with eight MPs, led by Supriya Sule of NCP (SCP).
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri briefed the first three teams before their departure.
These teams will visit countries including Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, UAE, Russia, and several European and African nations.
Four more teams will begin their visits between May 23 and 25.
The delegations are also visiting countries that are current or upcoming members of the UN Security Council.
CPI(M) MP John Brittas mentioned that meetings will be held with ministers, MPs, and scholars to discuss Indo-Pak relations and terrorism.
His team, led by Sanjay Kumar Jha of JD(U), will travel to Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
The goal of these visits is to showcase India’s united stance against terrorism and build global awareness about ongoing threats.
