2025 മെയ് മാസത്തിൽ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ മൊത്തത്തിലുള്ള Trade Deficit (വ്യാപാര കമ്മി) $6.6 ബില്യണായി കുറഞ്ഞു. കഴിഞ്ഞ വർഷം ഇതേ മാസത്തെ അപേക്ഷിച്ച് ഏകദേശം 30% കുറവാണിത്.
മൊത്തം കയറ്റുമതി (Total Exports) 2.8% വർധിച്ച് $71.1 ബില്യണായി. ഇതിന് പ്രധാന കാരണം Services Exports (സേവന കയറ്റുമതി) 9.4% വർധിച്ച് $32.4 ബില്യൺ ആയതാണ്.
Merchandise Exports (ചരക്ക് കയറ്റുമതി) 2.2% കുറഞ്ഞ് $38.7 ബില്യണായി. ഇതിന് പ്രധാന കാരണം ആഗോള എണ്ണവിലയിലെ (Oil Prices) ഇടിവാണ്.
എണ്ണ ഇതര കയറ്റുമതി (Non-petroleum exports) 5.1% വളർച്ച രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി, ഇത് സമ്പദ്‌വ്യവസ്ഥയുടെ വൈവിധ്യവൽക്കരണത്തെ സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
മൊത്തം ഇറക്കുമതി (Total Imports) 1% കുറഞ്ഞു. Merchandise Imports (ചരക്ക് ഇറക്കുമതി) 1.7% കുറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ, എണ്ണ ഇതര ഇറക്കുമതി (Non-petroleum imports) 10% വർധിച്ചു.
സേവന ഇറക്കുമതി (Services Imports) 1.5% വർധന രേഖപ്പെടുത്തി.
