Key Highlights from the News
An international conclave on the blue economy is being organized in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala.
The state Fisheries Department, the central government, and the European Union (EU) are jointly organizing this event, named 'Blue Tides-To Shores One Vision'.
Experts from India and Europe, and representatives from 29 European countries will participate.
Main Objectives:
To prepare a road map for developing Kerala as a sustainable and resilient blue economy model.
To leverage the EU’s expertise for Kerala's development.
To form new partnerships in the blue economy sector.
